Cullompton, Devon

The Weary Traveller

Rest a while on the road to Cullompton.

A proper Devon inn with a fire worth sitting by, a pint worth waiting for, and a welcome that doesn't run out. Come in from the road, or just come in from down the road.

Welcome

A Place to Rest a While

Travellers have been stopping here for longer than anyone can quite agree on, and the name has stuck for good reason. Cullompton has a way of putting people at ease, and so do we.

Whether you've walked the dog up from the churchyard, come off the road after a long drive, or just fancy somewhere easy for a Tuesday tea, pull up a chair. The lanterns are lit, the regulars will make room, and there's always time for one more.

Dog Friendly

Bring the dog. There's usually a biscuit behind the bar for good behaviour.

Family Welcome

A kids' menu, high chairs, and enough room to breathe.

Beer Garden

Out back, with space for a pram, a pint, and a bit of sunshine.

The Bar

Ales, Wines & Spirits

A well-kept pint matters round here. Expect cask ales on rotation, the usual lagers and ciders, and staff who know their way round a bottle of something better.

Cask Ales & Ciders

Local and regional brews on rotation alongside the reliable favourites, kept properly and poured right, pint after pint.

Wines

A short, honest list of reds, whites and rosés, built for a quick glass or a proper Sunday dinner.

Spirits & Cocktails

From a simple gin and tonic to something a little more considered. Ask, and we'll sort you out.

Food

Hearty Pub Food, Done Properly

Homemade, generous, and built for a Devon appetite. Nothing fussy, everything proper.

The Everyday Menu

Pub classics and hearty favourites, from a good honest pie to a burger done right.

Sunday Carvery

A Cullompton habit for good reason. Get here early, the roast potatoes don't last.

Dietary & Little Ones

Vegetarian options on request and a proper kids' menu, because everyone should leave full.

What's On

Quiz Nights, Sport & Good Company

There's always a reason to pop down. Quiz teams form and reform, the big games get the volume turned up, and the beer garden fills the moment the sun does its bit.

Quiz Night

Grab a team and bring your general knowledge, bragging rights included. Ask us for this month's dates.

Live Sport

The big matches, shown properly, with a crowd that cares.

Pool & Games

A pool table inside for the regulars, and space out back for the rest.

Private Gatherings

Birthdays, wakes, christenings, or just an excuse for a get-together. Ask us about booking the pub for your do.
