Culm Florist has always leaned toward the loose and the natural: a hand-tied bunch that looks as though it was just cut from a Devon garden, rather than lined up and wrapped to a formula. We choose stems for their colour and their character, not only their symmetry.
Wherever we can, we work with what is in season and in good supply from British growers, so a bouquet in May looks and feels different to one in November. It keeps things honest, and it keeps every arrangement a little bit its own.
We would rather a bouquet looked like it grew that way than looked like it came off a production line.
