Let's build Cullompton a pool to be proud of
For more than a hundred years, Cullompton has talked about having a swimming pool of its own. We're the local volunteers turning that talk into tiles, water and lane ropes, and we can't finish the job without our community.
A hundred year wait we intend to end
Cullompton has talked about having its own swimming pool since 1922, but the town has never quite managed to build one. In 2011, a small group of local residents decided that if nobody else was going to make it happen, they would. We've kept going ever since, as a registered charity run entirely by volunteers.
We raise money through community fundraising and our volunteer-run charity shop in the town centre, and we've already reached our initial target of £150,000. As building costs keep climbing, we're now working with Sport England and other funding partners to close the gap, while our volunteers keep the fundraising going, event by event and pound by pound.

25m Main Pool
A full size, indoor, heated swimming pool for lessons, clubs, school swimming and lengths before work.
Learner Pool
A dedicated shallow pool where every child in Cullompton can learn to swim with confidence, close to home.
Hydrotherapy Pool
Mid Devon's first hydrotherapy pool, supporting rehabilitation, mobility and wellbeing for people of all ages.
A Community Hub
A warm, welcoming space that brings Cullompton together, from toddler splash sessions to senior swim clubs.
One day, children growing up in Cullompton won't have to travel out of town just to learn to swim. That's what keeps our volunteers turning up, week after week.
