Every Abide Maids dress begins with a conversation, not a catalogue. From the first consultation to the final fitting, Kimberley designs and hand-sews each gown to suit the bride's vision and every bridesmaid's own shape.
Design Consultations
A relaxed, one-to-one appointment at the studio to talk through your wedding colours, your bridesmaids and the silhouette you have in mind.
Made-to-Measure Dresses
Every dress is cut and hand-sewn to each bridesmaid's own measurements rather than a standard size chart, so the fit is entirely her own.
Fittings
Two or three fittings across the making process, with every seam adjusted by hand until each dress sits exactly right.
Colour and Fabric Choices
Silks, satins and chiffons in shades that can be matched to your wedding palette, from the palest blush to deep forest green.
Dresses to Suit Every Bridesmaid
Coordinating styles cut to flatter different shapes and heights, so your whole bridal party feels equally beautiful.

Consultation
Book an appointment at the Cullompton studio to share your wedding colours, your bridesmaids and your vision for the dresses.
Design
Kimberley sketches dress designs for your bridal party, refining the silhouette, neckline and fabric until it feels right.
Fittings
Each dress is hand-sewn in stages, with fittings along the way to adjust the fit until every bridesmaid feels comfortable and confident.
The Big Day
Your bridesmaids step out in dresses made entirely for them, ready to stand beside you as you marry.
About the Designer
Meet Kimberley Baker
Kimberley Baker founded Abide Maids in 2016, bringing together a lifelong love of dressmaking with a simple idea: that bridesmaids deserve dresses made just as thoughtfully as the bride's own gown.
Working from her studio on Station Road in Cullompton, Kimberley designs and hand-sews every dress herself, getting to know each bridal party along the way and guiding them from first sketch to final fitting.
